Five Heuchera of OUR choice for £20
| (Saxifragaceae). Coral Flower, Alum root. Genus of about 55 species of evergreen and semi-evergreen, summer flowering perennials from woodland and rocky sites in North America, chiefly the Rocky Mountains with a few from Mexico. They have woody rootstocks and form large clumps or mounds of rounded to heart-shaped leaves, often tinted bronze or purple. Excellent foliage plants and good ground cover. Feathery sprays of flowers are tubular borne in narrow, loose racemes or panicles. Can be used as cut flower and are attractive to bees. Paler leaved varieties tend to need more sun than reds. Neutral soil best, moisture retentive, well drained, fertile. Full shade tolerated in a moist site. The rootstock tends to push upwards, so mulch annually. Ht 55cm/2'
