WELCOME TO OUR PLANT NURSERY WHICH HOLDS THE NATIONAL COLLECTION OF LUPINS. We grow all our own plants and breed all our lupins and are primarily a mail order business.

Customes are welcome to visit the nursery to view stock and lupins or to place orders March to end July. However we are a nursery, not a garden centre so please ring first if you are coming some distance.

We exhibit at most of the major Royal Horticultural Society shows every year.

PLANTS ARE SENT OUT in 9cm pots, well rooted and ready to plant out. Young plants will establish better.

If using a credit card, MINIMUM order/payment is £10.

NEW POSTAGE RATES: we have reduced our rates so that you can now order up to 24 plants for the £9.95. This rate applies to plants in 9cm pot size. Acers and 2l Clematis will be charged extra at £6.50 per plant.

COMPLAINTS - email: info@westcountry-nurseries.co.uk IMMEDIATELY on receipt. Plants will not necessarily thrive in conditions you provide or environmental factors outside our control therefore cannot be replaced.

QUERIES REGARDING PLANTS ON RECEIPT. We must be informed of any problems immediately regarding plants as we cannot be responsible for plants once in your care. If your order has not arrived within a week of ordering please contact us immediately. We are not responsible for orders months after the expected delivery date.

Damage to plants or packaging must be returned to us for any refunds.

ORDERING PLANTS

ONLINE: Most credit cards can be used on our secure website + last 3 digits on the back (CW2). You do not need to print form out or send us a copy if placing order online.

PHONE We take orders and credit card payments over the phone.

CHEQUES Orders can be sent with a cheque payable to Westcountry Nurseries, with cheque guarantee card number on the back. Cheques and credit card payments are cashed on receipt to secure your order.

SEED orders - please send a first class stamped addressed envelope with your cheque. These can only be sold as mixed packets.

PLEASE NOTE- certain postcodes fall into Zone B or C with our courier and incurs an extra £10 surcharge. Zone 4 and 5 £15 surcharge. We will take any outstanding amounts if not inclued by the customer. Isle of Wight excluded from surcharge

FOR OFFSHORE ORDERS- when checking out, after typing in your details, under Select Shipping - Class of Service, click the drop down menu if living offshore of the UK and select the area in which you live.

We cannot send seed to Australia, New Zealand or America due to import regs. We only send within the UK.

DESPATCH OF ORDERS: Lupin orders from September 2010 when new stock is offered, will be despatched from April 2011. LUPINS WILL ONLY BE SENT OUT FROM APRIL 2011 as they are not ready before this date.

Other plants can be sent out all year round depending on availability. Sending out of part orders will incur a second delivery charge.

PLEASE ADVISE US OF ANY TIMES YOU MAY BE AWAY OR IF YOUR PLANTS HAVE NOT ARRIVED WITHIN A WEEK OF PLACING AN ORDER. If you include an email - we will notify you of date of despatch of plants

PLACING OF AN ORDER CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Please note that under the provisions of the consumer protection act you have 7 days to exercise your right to cancel your order.. Replacements / refunds will only be made on receipt of the returned goods. The placing of an order indicates acceptance of these conditions.

The post office now requires proof of damage so we will need any damaged packaging to be returned to us and pictures of any damage to plants within.

Any queries or complaints concerning condition of stock should be confirmed by email immediately and plants returned to us for refund or replacement.
