Dictamnus albus var albus

Dictamnus albus var albus

Dictamnus albus (Burning Bush) is a fragrant plant with lemon scented leaves and fragrant white flowers in summer. On a hot sunny day it is sometimes possible to ignite the volatile oils coming out of the flowers - hence the name 'burning bush'. The oils burn above the plant and do not harm the flowers. This plant needs sun or partial shade, a soil that is not acid. Eventual Ht 75cm/2.5’. Sold in 9cm pots.
