Woodsia obtusa Fern



(Dryopteridaceae) Genus of approximately 25 species of small, tufted, deciduous, terrestrial or rock-dwelling ferns occurring in upland and mountainous regions mainly in the N. hemisphere. Erect, short rhizomes and pinnate pale green fronds.Crowns should sit above soil to avoid rotting and can be surrounded by small stones. Good for front of borders, troughs and rock gardens. Hardy deciduous fern. Moist, sharply drained, fertle soil in semi shade best. Eventual Ht 30cm/1'. Sold in 9cm pots
