Good for borders, pond margins or naturalising in the wild meadow, garden or orchard. Clump forming. Large, ovoid to spherical bulbs give rise to star shaped blue flowers May onwards - good as cut flower. Bulbs of C. quamash were once an important food source for native Americans. Quamash has pale wisteria blue flowers, golden anthers. May onwards. A lovely variety. Eventual Ht 60cm/2'. Plants sold in 9cm pots
