Clematis armandii 'Snowdrift'

Vigorous, evergreen clematis produces a profusion of sweetly scented, star-shaped pure white flowers from March to April like an icy hillside. The tepals (outermost whorls of flower parts) are narrow and slightly twisted and reflexed, so they look star-like. Glossy green trifoliate leaves are bronze in spring. Perfect for a sunny west or south-facing site, sheltered from cold winds. Eventual ht 5m/16'. Sold in 9cm pots
