Euonymus alatus 'Compactus' AGM

Winged spindle, winged euonymus or burning bush. Deciduous with small green flowers in July followed by red purple fruits with orange seeds. A smaller and denser variety than the species and will make a fine informal hedge or specimen shrub. Green leaves in spring turn bright red in autumn. Corky wings on the stem. Eventual ht 1m/3'. Sold in 9cm pots.
