Terminal racemes or corymbs of white, star shaped flowers in May. Most have leaves in basal clusters, semi-erect, linear to elliptic sometimes channelled. Naturalize under trees and shrubs or in grass. Moderately fertile, humus-rich soil in full sun or partial shade. S. peruviana does not have a dormant period. Eventual Ht 30cm/1'. Sold in 9cm pots
