syn Maianthemum racemosum. (Liliaceae). False Solomon's Seal. Genus of 25 species of mainly rhizomatous perennials. From woodland in Asia and North and Central America. Similar to Solomon's Seal (Polygonatum). Arching stems of long pointed lanceolate foliage with golden coloured in autumn. Flowers - tiny, white and scented which fruit into red berries with purple spots. Excellent in a woodland garden or shaded border. Flowering April May. Eventual Ht 75cm/2.5'. Plants sold in 9cm pots
