Westcountry Nurseries Lithodoras such as Lithodora Grace Ward and Lithodora Heavenly Blue are useful evergreen shrubs with rich blue flowers in late spring.

(Boriginaceae). Genus of about 7 species of low growing, spreading or upright, evergreen sub-shrubs and shrubs found in scrub, thickets and woodland margins and on mountains, from S. W. Europe to S. Greece, Turkey and Algeria. Grown for their 5-lobed, funnel shaped deep blue flowers in summer. Leaves are linear, lance shaped and hairy. Excellent in rock gardens. Resents root disturbance. Prostrate habit with trailing stems. Trim stems hard after flowering. Acid, humus rich soil.
